The collection includes genealogical materials for the Johnson, Earl, Gregory, Parker, and Brewster families of North Carolina. Among the items are the wills of Mary Gregorie, 1761; Thomas Jones, 1775; John Gregory, 1782; Daniel Earl, 1785; Ann Earl, 1796; and Charles Johnson, 1802. Also the holy orders of Daniel Earl, 1748.
