Richard Hooker Wilmer (1816-1900) was an Episcopal priest in Virginia and bishop of Alabama, 1861-1900. Wilmer was born in Alexandria, Va., and was educated at Yale University and the Theological Seminary in Virgina. His father was William Holland Wilmer.
