Abstract Edwin L. Halsey was a Confederate officer from South Carolina and a member of Hart's South Carolina Horse Artillery, Army of Northern Virginia. Part microfilm, the collection is chiefly military papers, 1864-1865, of Halsey, including orders, accounts of pay and clothing, records of horses and equipment, and military letters. Also included are a small amount of family correspondence and an autograph album, 1881-1889, of Marie H. Singleton.
