The collection includes genealogical material concerning the Peacock family of North Carolina and Georgia, and related Pittman, Applewhite, Pleasant, Woordard, O'Berry, Harris, Bailey, Gay, and May lines including data, charts, compilations, and correspondence, 1920-1965, of Vance Peacock Dykers. Correspondence is arranged alphabetical by name of correspondent. Correspondence of Vance Peacock Dykers chiefly of the late 1950s with some items from 1942-1961. Few charts and data sheets attached to the letters. Interspersed are several folders marked by name of branch of family that include some data, clippings, and correspondence.
