The collection includes correspondence and papers, 1955-1972, of Silva Wilson Partridge concerning the descendants of William Paisley. Correspondence is primarily between Partridge and other Paisley descendants. There are also notebooks apparently compiled by Partridge while conducting genealogical research for others. Family lines represented in the notebooks include Howell, Offutt, Duke, Haygood, Morgan, Pringle, Coolidge, Loomis, Crawford, Negley, Scudder, Smith, Wear, Carrick, McClellan, Walker, Vance, Ferando, Rayburn, Allensworth, and Hogeboom.Back to Top
