Abstract Fishing record and register of the charter steam yacht Judy, owned by Frank T. Howard of New Orleans, La. The book is inscribed, "Compliments of Yours Truly, Geo. H. Dunbar, July 1890." Entries, which cover about 30 pages of the volume, document cruises between June and October 1890, showing destination, what was caught and by whom, tides and winds, and bait used. Some entries include miscellaneous remarks on passengers and weather conditions. Also included is a summary of catches from the 16 cruises undertaken during the summer of 1890. In the back of the volume, there are also lists of passengers on a few pleasure cruises from New Orleans to various locations in 1890 and 1891.
