Abstract Members of the Paleske family of Henrico County, Va., included Mary G. Lewis Paleske (1832-1874), her husband Charles G. Paleske (1831-1907), and their daughter Fannie Lewis Paleske Timberlake (1868-1935). The collection includes two volumes: an album of handwritten poetry by both Charles G. Paleske and Mary G. Lewis Paleske, dated 9 June 1849; and an autograph album signed by friends and family of Fannie Lewis Paleske (1868-1935). The entries in the autograph album are dated March 1895, Barbersville, Fla. A letter, 13 September 1998, taped into the autograph album describes a Timberlake family Bible entry that documents the marriage of Fannie Lewis Paleske and Archie Boyd Timberlake in Henrico County, Va., in 1897.

Mary G. Lewis Paleske (9 June 1832-23 July 1874) and Charles G. Paleske (12 April 1831-9 August 1907) had nine children: Virginia (b. 18 January 1856), Susan (b. 18 August 1857), Nath Lewis (b. 4 July 1859), Mary (10 November 1861-31 August 1863), Chas. G. Jr. (13 April 1864-11 March 1886), Maria (15 June 1868-15 June 1868) and Fannie (15 June 1868-3 April 1935), Wharton (1 May 1870-19 April 1871)), Mary (15 July 1874-20 August 1874).

The Paleske family collection contains two volumes. One is an album of handwritten poetry by both Charles G. Paleske and Mary G. Lewis Paleske. One of the poems is dated 9 June 1849. Also in the album is a handwritten essay, "Golden Rule for Brides." The other volume is an autograph album signed by friends and family of Fannie Lewis Paleske Timberlake (1868-1935) of Henrico County, Va., who married Archie Boyd Timberlake (1865-1936). In the album are notes dated March 1895, Barbersville, Fla.. Taped into the back of the album is a letter, 13 September 1998, describing an entry in a Timberlake family Bible: "Married Dec.7, 1897 at Solitaire, Henrico County by Rev. Charles H. Boggs Archie Boyd Timberlake of Hanover County and Fanny Lewis Paleske of Henrico County, Virginia."
