Abstract The Carolina Women's Center at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill was founded in 1997. Through its programs and services, the Center works to represent women and their interests on campus and beyond. The Center focuses on issues of violence prevention; gender, difference and diversity; closing the gender gap, and family advocacy. Records of the Center include materials related to its programs, events, and advocacy; subject files on issues of interest to the Center; committee records and reports, and clippings and publications.
