Abstract The collection consists of digital photographs taken by winners of the North Carolina Documentary Photography Award, 2012-2015. The North Carolina Documentary Photography Awards is an annual program available to University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill undergraduate and graduate students and is sponsored by the North Carolina Collection in Wilson Special Collections Library. The photographs depict a variety of subjects in different locations across North Carolina, and cover a variety of topics including immigration, farming, economic change, Gullah culture and religious gatherings, and North Carolina businesses.
