Abstract | A. F. Alexander was a student at what is now Princeton University. The collection includes the will of Alexander's father, Nathaniel Alexander, 1806; a letter, 1821, from Alexander, while a Princeton student, to his older brother Elam Alexander in Charlotte, N.C.; and two letters from Alexander's daughter, Elizabeth Alexander, in school at Brooklyn, N.Y., and Mobile, Ala., to her father, possibly in Eutaw, Ala., in 1852. |
