Abstract Herman Frank Arnold (1837-1927), of Memphis, Tenn., was an American musician of Prussian birth. The collection contains a typewritten manuscript about Arnold and his wife, written by Mrs. L. E. Fisher about 1929, and including an account of Arnold's orchestrating and playing "Dixie" at the inauguration of Jefferson Davis, 1861.
