Abstract Joel Clifton Blake (1831-1863) was a planter of Miccosukee, Fla., who was killed at Gettysburg while serving in the Confederate army. The collection contains papers relating to the settlement of Blake's estate, including a will, 1852, deed and indentures, 1856-1857, and administrator's bond, 1864.
