The collection includes chiefly letters from James Augustus Graham, written from forts and camps in Virginia and South Carolina to his parents in Hillsborough, N.C., with a few letters by other members of the family, including his father, William Alexander Graham (1804-1875), and a few postwar items. Also included is a copy of Graham's Descriptive Book of the Orange Guards. |
