Solomon Hilary Helsabeck (1822-1910) was a Methodist minister of Stokes County, N.C. In his ministry, Helsabeck served in Mocksville, N.C., and Salisbury, N.C., 1843-1844, and the counties of Granville, 1845; Currituck, 1846; Surry, 1847; Randolph, 1848; Wilkes, 1849; Guilford, 1854-1856 and 1874; Iredell, 1858-1859; Forsyth, 1860-1862, 1871, and 1885; and Stokes, 1866, 1868, and 1878-1879, North Carolina. Helsabeck married Margaret J. Banner, January 1847.

W. Pulliam, also of Stokes County. Diary entries mention travel connected to church work, and services, christenings, marriages, and burials. Also inlcuded in the collection are some genealogical notes on the Pulliam, Goff, Walters, and Newton families.
