Abstract | Asa John Wyatt (1829-1862) was a Confederate officer in Company I, 21st Regiment, Virginia Infantry. The collection is a typed transcription of the diary of Asa John Wyatt's Confederate service while fighting in northern Virginia and the Shenandoah Valley. Wyatt was wounded at the Battle of Cedar Run on 9 August 1862 and died the next day. |
