Vance Pickens, including merchandising account books and assorted other items, all relating to Henderson County, N.C. The account books cover scattered periods, 1854-1884. Other items include a brief autobiography; minutes of a reading club, 1875; minutes of a lawyers association, 1883-1884; accounts of a building and loan association, 1887-1890; a commonplace book, 1855-1868; a political scrapbook, 1888; and other items pertaining to local matters. |
