The collection includes memoranda, speeches, clippings, and other papers of Charles Riborg Mann, chiefly relating to his service as a civilian adviser in the United States War Department during World War I, particularly as a member of the Committee on Education and Special Training. These papers deal with such topics as officer training, engineering education, the National American Council, and national defense following World War I. |
