Abstract | Edward D. Seghers (fl. 1862-1865) was a Confederate officer from Louisiana, who served at Vicksburg, Miss., and Mobile, Ala. The collection includes a volume containing accounts and a few diary entries of Seghers while a Confederate officer serving at Vicksburg and Mobile. Included are accounts for food, apparently for troops, and personal accounts with fellow officers. Diary entries refer briefly to military events. |
