Hinkle of Robertson County, Tenn., about his experiences serving in the 30th Tennessee Infantry Regiment, Confederate States of America, including his capture at Fort Donelson, imprisonment in Illinois, and escape with the aid of southern sympathizers. The original document was addressed to Anderson Chenault Quisenberry. The microfilm copy is of the original manuscript; there is also a typed transcription of the original. |
