William Clyde "Bill"Friday acted as president of the North Carolina Division of the organization in the mid-1950s. The collection includes the office files of William Clyde "Bill" Friday while he served as president of the North Carolina Division of the American Cancer Society, and they consist of correspondence, reports, lists, by-laws, budgets, surveys, and other papers relating to the organization and program of the society.
