Abstract | Andrew Dunn Kincaid was the owner of land and slaves in Burke County, N.C. The collection includes deeds and indentures, 1797-1842, for land in Burke County, N.C., ultimately owned by Andrew D. Kincaid; Kincaid's will, 1862, and papers, 1866-1895, about his estate, including a settlement among his children relating to the value of the slaves he owned in 1862; and a 1969 letter concerning Kincaid family history. |
