The four volumes in this collection contain records of Seligman and Company's lumbering activities, 1907-1930, in Pasquotank County, North Carolina. Seligman and Company appears to have been affiliated with the Clear Creek Coal Company, Inc., which also operated out of Tamaqua. Some of the entries in Volume 4 relate to this company. It is not clear whether or not Clear Creek Coal Company, Inc., also operated in Pasquotank County.
