Clawson L. Williams Sr. (1887-1964) was a Superior Court Judge serving in North Carolina's Eleventh Judicial District. Born in Johnston County, N.C., Williams obtained his Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1911, after which he received additional legal training and passed the State Bar in August of that same year. Williams served as a lawyer and Solicitor of North Carolina's Fourth District before becoming a Superior Court Judge in central North Carolina.
