The North Carolina Society of Hispanic Professionals (Sociedad de Profesionales Hispanos) was founded in 1999 and its mission "is to promote the education of Hispanic students at all scholastic levels. Through our educational programs and initiatives, we work to lower the dropout rate of Hispanic students in North Carolina and provide them with access to higher education. We believe that an investment in a Hispanic student is an investment in North Carolina."
