The Anderson Family of Greensboro, N.C., included Charles William Anderson (d. 1988), Lois J. Anderson (1913-1992), and their children Charles Anderson Jr. and Norman Anderson. Charles and Lois Anderson were pastors of the United Institutional Baptist Church in Greensboro from 1939 until 1989. Lois J. Anderson attended John Wesley College, where she was the only African American student in her graduating class.
