Abstract |
The collection contains four audio cassettes with interviews of six women over the
age of sixty living in or near Fayetteville, N.C. Carolyn Caine Faulk, an educator
and University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill alumna from Fayetteville, conducted
these interviews in the spring of 1976 for a folklore class at UNC. Interviewees are
Alda Belle Melvin, Lucy Rice, Lila Sessions, Erma Caine, Mrs. B.A. Miller, and Ethel
Dunn. Acquired as part of the Southern Folklife Collection.
