Abstract |
The collection contains two sound recordings of the Durham Rangers Old Time String
Band. Banjo player Michael Fishback is the founding member and leader of the musical
group from Durham and Chapel Hill, N.C. The recordings of traditional Appalachian
and Cajun music are titled
Twenty Years: Durham Rangers Old Time String Band and
Public Domain: Durham Rangers Old Time String Band. Acquired as part of the Southern Folklife Collection.
