Abstract The Loren Connors Collection consists mostly of reference copies of commercial audio recordings created and compiled by composer, Loren MazzaCane Connors. The recordings, which primarily feature avant-garde and experimental guitar music by Connors, include commercial releases, promotional copies, annotated personal copies, and self-released material by Connors, as well as compilations and collaborations by Connors with other artists, including Kath Bloom, Keiji Haino, Jandek, Suzanne Langille, and Alan Licht, among others. The collection also contains photographs and printed materials related to Connors, including a copy of his chapter book, Autumn's Sun (1999).

Loren MazzaCane Connors was born in New Haven, Conn. in 1949. Best known as a composer and improvisor, Connors has recorded over 9,000 hours of guitar music since the 1970s, significant portions of which have been released by various labels across the globe. Connors also has additional bodies of work in the fields of both visual and language arts, including the 1999 publication, Autumn's Sun. He currently resides in New York City with his wife, Suzanne Langille, and his son.

The Loren Connors Collection consists mostly of reference copies of commercial audio recordings created and compiled by composer, Loren MazzaCane Connors. The collection also includes photographs and printed materials related to Loren Connors. Photographs consist of inkjet print copies of photographs of Connors, including promotional shots and documentation of live performances by Connors. Printed materials consist of an issue of Yak'uz'a magazine, with an accompanying Compact Disc (CD) compilation, and a copy of Autumn's Sun, a chapter book by Loren Connors published in 1999 by Glass Eye Books.
