Abstract	The UNC Student Television Recordings consist of videotapes, 1981-2010, produced by UNC Student Television (STV), the entirely student-run television station at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Materials consist mostly of videotape masters, copies, and elements related to STV programs, including talk shows, news magazine programs, sketch comedy shows, melodramas, music programs, and clip shows. STV programs featured in this collection include Off the Cuff, Late Night STV, General College, Campus Profile, Midday Tonight, R.A.V.E., and The Suite Life, among others. The collection also contains video recordings of campus and community events, such as lectures, press conferences, workshops, student body president forums, mayor forums, and town council meetings.

UNC Student Television (STV) is a student-run television station for the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Founded in 1983, it is now one of the largest media organizations on campus.

The UNC Student Television Recordings consist of videotapes produced by UNC Student Television (STV) between the years 1981-2010. Materials consist mostly of videotape masters, copies, and elements related to STV programs, including talk shows, news magazine programs, sketch comedy shows, melodramas, music programs, and clip shows. The collection also contains video recordings of campus and community events, such as lectures, press conferences, workshops, student body president forums, mayor forums, and town council meetings. Recordings are on U-matic, VHS, and MiniDV.
