Abstract | The Office of the Senior Associate Athletic Director for Business and Finance was responsible for overseeing the financial transactions of the Department of Athletics, managing the accounts of each intercollegiate athletic team, and compiling a departmental budget based on information from the individual units within the department. Records consist chiefly of personnel and job descriptions, correspondence, annual reports, and financial documents including budget reports, audit information, and other related materials. The records document the annual budget process of the Department of Athletics, periodic audits, and interaction between the department and various outside agencies, including the Atlantic Coast Conference, the National Collegiate Athletic Association, and the athletic departments of other colleges and universities. |

Prior to 2003, these responsibilities were carried out by administrators with varying titles: Assistant Athletic Director for Business, Athletic Business Manager, Director of Athletic Business and Finance, Assistant Athletic Director for Business and Finance, and Associate Athletic Director for Business and Finance.
