Abstract The Executive Vice Provost is a position reporting to the Executive Vice Chancellor and Provost at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. The Executive Vice Provost oversees core university functions including those related to academic personnel and interdisciplinary initiatives. Previously the Executive Associate Provost, the position title was changed to Executive Vice Provost 2011. The position was expanded to include the duties of Chief International Officer later that year, and now serves as the head of UNC Global and leads the University's international initiatives and partnerships. Records consist of files kept by Executive Vice Provost and Chief International Officer Ron Strauss.
