Abstract | The UNC Exchange Program was formed in 1997 and was responsible for creating study abroad exchange partnerships between the UNC system and university systems outside of the United States. The program was discontinued in 2016, transferring responsibility for active system-wide agreements to individual campuses. This collection includes meeting minutes of the University Council on International Programs, administrative records, records related to the "Internationalizing Teacher Education" project, and agreements, correspondence, and other records related to exchanges between UNC schools and Australia, Brazil, Canada, Finland, Mexico, Sweden and Denmark, Portugal, South Africa, Taiwan, Uruguay, and Israel. |
