Abstract |
The collection consists of images taken by Dudley L. Jennings (1913-2005), an amateur
photographer from Lumberton, N.C., chiefly from the late 1930s through the late 1980s.
Included in the collection are images of Colonial Williamsburg, Va., Charleston, S.C.,
Yosemite National Park, Calif., and locations throughout North Carolina, along with
other miscellaneous subjects. The collection consists largely of black-and-white 120
and 35mm roll film, with some black-and-white sheet film and 35mm color slides. Also
included are black-and-white photographic prints mounted for exhibition.

Dudley L. Jennings (1913-2005) was an amateur photographer born in Lumberton, N.C.
He attended the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill, N.C., where he was a
member of St. Anthony's Hall, a national collegiate literary society. Jennings graduated
in 1936 with a degree in Commerce.
